dressmaker Thelma Madine has created a dress made entirely from human
hair. The size 6 dress, which took eight people over 300 hours to
complete, uses 250 metres of hair and weighs 15 stone (95kg). Eight
designers from Thelma's dress shop Nico's Dressmakers, which featured on
the Channel Four series My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding, spent 12 days making
the dress. The dress with a price tag of more than £50,000 includes 1500
crystals and 12 underskirts.
